Great coffee without leaving home.
I really like this coffee machine. It is easy to use and makes espresso quickly. The milk frother works very well for making cappuccinos and lattes. The LED display also makes it simple to operate. Overall, a great choice for enjoying delicious coffee at home without any hassle.

A Capable Entry Level Espresso Machine.
This Kismile occupies an interesting middle ground between push-a-button coffee appliances and the increasingly expensive rabbit hole of serious home espresso equipment. It gives us enough control to make actual espresso, but it doesn’t require us to establish a small Italian laboratory on the kitchen counter. That’s a pretty compelling proposition at around $170.The first thing we appreciate is the 58mm portafilter. That’s the standard commercial diameter and gives this machine a considerably more serious foundation than the smaller proprietary hardware commonly found on inexpensive home machines. More importantly, it leaves room for experimentation as our espresso-making competence inevitably becomes more ridiculous. The machine heats quickly. The 1350W thermoblock means we’re not switching the thing on and wandering away for twenty minutes while a boiler contemplates its existence. Once preheating is complete, the LED display makes machine status obvious and the controls are reasonably intuitive. There is still a learning curve, because espresso stubbornly refuses to become a simple appliance function. Grind size, dose, distribution, tamp, extraction time, and the coffee itself all affect what eventually appears in the cup. That’s actually part of the appeal here. The machine automates enough to be convenient while leaving enough variables exposed that we can improve the result ourselves. The advertised 20-bar pump deserves some perspective. Twenty bars sounds enormously impressive on an Amazon listing, but excellent espresso isn’t made by blasting coffee with 20 bars of pressure. Around 9 bars at the puck is the traditional neighborhood we’re interested in during extraction. The pump’s maximum rating therefore isn’t the reason to buy this machine. What matters is whether we can produce a controlled extraction with good coffee, and we can.The single- and double-shot controls make ordinary mornings easy, while the steam wand turns the machine into something considerably more versatile. It has enough steam capability to produce properly textured milk rather than merely introducing hot bubbles into it. Technique still matters, but lattes and cappuccinos are entirely realistic rather than aspirational features printed on the box. We’re somewhat less intoxicated by the “cold brew” terminology. Traditional cold brew is produced through long extraction at low temperature, not by asking an espresso machine to perform a different short extraction cycle. The cold function is nevertheless useful for iced espresso-based drinks; we simply wouldn’t buy the machine because we thought it had somehow compressed a twelve-hour cold-brew process into a button press.Physical construction is good for the price, although this isn’t a 30-pound monument to Italian metallurgy. Some of the machine feels lighter than expensive enthusiast equipment. At $170, we’re perfectly willing to accept that distinction provided the important brewing hardware continues performing properly.Cleanup is also refreshingly ordinary. The reservoir and drip tray are removable, and the steam wand is straightforward to maintain provided we wipe and purge it immediately after frothing milk. Ignore that last bit and yesterday’s cappuccino eventually becomes today’s science project. There is one other encouraging data point in the existing owner reports: one reviewer received a defective machine and reports that Kismile diagnosed the problem and replaced it. We can’t independently evaluate long-term support from a single case, but we’d rather see evidence of a manufacturer actually resolving a failure than seventeen reviews pretending consumer electronics never fail. This is ultimately what we think an entry-level semi-automatic espresso machine should be. It doesn’t eliminate technique. It gives us enough competent hardware that developing technique is actually worthwhile. And therein lies the danger. We begin with a perfectly reasonable $170 espresso machine. Six months later we’re discussing burr geometry, weighing individual beans, timing extractions to tenths of a second, and explaining to bewildered houseguests why their coffee is undergoing pre-infusion. We may be one espresso machine away from obsessing about grind size.Pros:• Commercial-standard 58mm portafilter• Fast 1350W thermoblock heating• Capable steam wand for lattes and cappuccinos• Single- and double-shot controls simplify everyday operation• LED display provides useful machine-status information• Hot and cold extraction modes• Compact enough for normal kitchen-counter duty• Removable reservoir and drip tray simplify cleaning• Enough manual involvement to actually learn espresso technique• Very good feature set for approximately $170Cons:• “20 bar” is more marketing specification than espresso-making advantage• Cold extraction shouldn’t be confused with traditional cold brew• Some construction feels lighter than enthusiast-grade machines• Proper espresso still requires learning grind, dose and tamping• Steam-wand technique takes practice• This may initiate an expensive and completely unnecessary obsession with espresso★★★★★ 5 starsThis is an excellent deal at this price point there.

Easy to Use and Makes Excellent Coffee
I’ve had consistently good experiences with this brand, and this espresso machine is another product I’m really enjoying. It gives you plenty of options without making the process feel complicated, and the touchscreen controls make everything very straightforward. The quick heating system is one of my favorite features because there’s very little waiting around before making a drink. I also like having the one-touch cold brew option for something different. The espresso comes out tasting rich and fresh, and the steam wand produces smooth, creamy microfoam that works really well for lattes and other milk-based drinks.Despite having quite a few features, the machine is relatively compact and doesn’t take up an excessive amount of counter space. Cleanup is also simple, which makes it much more practical for regular use.My only minor concern is the weight. It feels surprisingly lightweight compared with other appliances I’ve used from this company, so it doesn’t have quite the same substantial feel I was expecting. So far, though, that hasn’t affected its performance at all.Pros:* Easy touchscreen controls* Semi-automatic operation* Heats up very quickly* One-touch cold brew option* Powerful steam wand* Creates smooth microfoam* Compact footprint* Easy to clean* Great-tasting espresso* Reliable brandCons:* Feels a little lightweight compared with other products from the brandOverall: This is a really enjoyable espresso machine that gives you plenty of drink options while still being simple enough for everyday use. It heats quickly, makes delicious coffee, froths milk beautifully, and doesn’t require a complicated process to get good results. Aside from the lighter construction, I’m very impressed with it.

Great espresso machine
I have tried multiple Kismile appliances and I find them all to be good quality and easy to use. This particular machine is very nice and actually makes better espresso than I thought it would. I have tried inexpensive machines before and always been disappointed. Not so in this case. If you do things right with the correct grind and tamping, you’ll pull a really nice shot. Temperature is spot on. It also steams milk better than I thought it would. I can get cappucino level foam, which is something cheap machines struggle with. You get enough steam pressure and volume to get your milk the way you want it.As for size, I like the footprint. Our kitchen is small, so counter space is at a premium. This fits well and is similar in size to the kcup machine that it is likely going to replace. For the price, this is a good value machine

Easy to brew great espresso is just the beginning with this machine!
I ordered this machine hoping that I might learn to make a basic cup of coffee and espresso that was actually drinkable. Then I spent the next 3 weeks staring at my new espresso machine and reading books from Kindle Unlimited that had anything to do with coffee. All I needed to do was follow the simple directions in the instruction booklet. Even the first try delivered a good cup! Being new to espresso machines I wouldn’t dare try to explain the how’s and why’s of this machine. I just know that I found that this Kismile machine quickly and easily delivers wonderful espresso (according to my husband who previous wouldn’t go near any coffee I made). I have been having fun trying different coffee recipes especially those cold brew coffees. The possibilities seem endless with this machine. Even my husband thinks this espresso maker is an excellent value!

Easy to use and worth it!
This espresso machine has completely transformed my morning routine for the better. The setup process was incredibly intuitive, allowing me to start brewing cafe-quality drinks almost immediately after unboxing. I am particularly impressed by how consistent the extraction is every single time, whether I am pulling a single or double shot. The milk frother is surprisingly powerful and creates a silky, barista-style foam that holds up perfectly in my lattes. I also appreciate the sleek, compact design, as it doesn’t take up too much precious counter space in my kitchen. The LED display is bright and easy to navigate, making the entire brewing experience feel very modern and high-end. Considering the performance and the quality of the coffee it produces, this machine offers exceptional value for money. It has easily become my favorite appliance, and I find myself looking forward to my morning coffee much more now.

Premium Espresso Machine Once You Understand the Startup
I love this espresso machine. It feels premium, looks great on the counter, is very well made, and makes an excellent espresso. It has a lot of useful features without feeling overly complicated once you understand how the controls work. One thing I want to mention because it may help someone else: when you first turn the machine on, it is very quiet. The power and hot brew buttons light up, and the display flashes while the machine is heating. At that point, the other buttons will not really do anything yet.Wait until the display stops flashing and the temperature appears. Then the machine is ready. From there, choose hot or cold brew, then select single, double, or steam on the right side. The option you choose will light up. And definitely make sure you have a cup underneath before starting because once it begins brewing, this machine is powerful and you will absolutely hear it working. Also make sure there is water in the tank before starting.Once I understood that startup process, everything made sense and the machine has worked beautifully for me. The espresso comes out rich and very good, and I am extremely happy with it.At around $170, I think this is a very good value for the quality, features, and performance.I definitely recommend it, and I hope the startup explanation helps someone who thinks their machine may not be working.

No tiene mucha presión ( bar)
La presión no llega a 9 o 10 bar solo llega a dos y se queda todo el café en el filtro. Para que un expreso salga bien debe tener 9 a 10 bar de presión

Great Coffee Upgrade
I got this espresso machine because I wanted to start learning more about making my own espresso drinks at home rather than making trips to coffee shops. I also liked the idea of being able to make those drinks myself and save some money over time. For someone just getting started with espresso, I felt this was a good price range without making a major investment in a higher end machine right away. The machine seems to be good quality for the price and has been straightforward to use. It heats up fairly quickly, so I’m not waiting around very long before I can start making a drink. I particularly like having both hot and cold brew functions, with the milk frother since it gives me some flexibility. Cleanup has also been easy and hasn’t been a hassle after making drinks. I wouldn’t necessarily consider this a machine for someone who already has a lot of experience with espresso and wants professional level equipment, but for someone like me who is learning and wants a reasonably priced way to get started, I think it makes a lot of sense. If I eventually get more serious about making espresso, I could always upgrade to a higher end machine later. For now, I’m happy with what this offers at this price.
